Dancing in the street part 2 - more Morris but with added clogs

A few more pictures from the Festival of Folk. This time we have some pictures of dancers from the North West style of Morris, typically performed wearing clog type shoes.

After an hour or two of shooting it sometimes becomes necessary to try and get some more creative angles. Crouching with a with a wide lens gave a good view of this fellow's clogs. I'd watched for a few minutes so I knew (or hoped I did) where he would stop so that I could get a dramatic shot without also receiving a clog in the face.

Coming up in the next few days, the next posting will cover the slightly more raucous Border style.
